Graham Hutt FRPS
1936 - 2002

Graham lived and worked in Chester from 1970 until his sudden death in June 2002, before moving to Chester he had worked in Canada at the MacMaster University, Hamilton, Toronto for 5 years. On his return to this country Graham was employed by Cheshire County Council as a Countryside Technical Officer and Photographer until his retirement. Graham worked in all areas of photography, and was involved in the production of many books and publications for the County Council.

A member of Chester Photographic Society and the Royal Photographic Society joining both in 1970. Graham became an Associate of the R.P.S. in 1974/5 and gained Fellowships in Audio Visual and Pictorial photography in the 1980's, he was also an Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photography.

Graham supported all club exhibitions and competitions, and exhibited widely on the British Exhibition Circuit. He had a keen interest in the natural world, seascapes, landscapes, action and nature, all presented as powerful monochrome images.
A Photographic Exhibition "The Turn of the Tide" was shown at
the Grosvenor Museum from 7th February to 12th April 2004 and featured a representative selection of Graham's varied work.
