Exhibition of the Society's prints in Lorrach, Germany

Lorrach is celebrating European Day at the beginning of May by holding various events involving their twinned cities -Chester, Sens and Senigallia. Part of the event is to hold a photographic exhibition depicting these cities.

Lorrach is located in SW Germany, close to the Swiss/ French boarder and not far from Basle. (Accessible by cheap EasyJet flights from Liverpool!)

Over the past 18 months I have established strong links with a group in Lorrach who are involved with pursuing these International Links- their hospitality has been overwhelming. I have had the opportunity to visit them 3 times and to entertain several in my home. I shall be returning in May for the Photographic Exhibition.

I have undertaken to send them a collection of at least 10 prints
of Chester which will be mounted in photographic frames by Gunter Craemer, the President of their Photographic Society.
The following photos were selected by John Beavan and myself as depicting the main features of Chester. Members of the Society have provided me with a good selection to choose from and I have offered to send more prints if they can accommodate them.
