Last year I was asked to take some publicity images for a Liverpool based Christian Rock band called Sentinel7.
The shoot took place on 4th November 2006 on location at St John the Baptist Church, Chester and St Mary's Church, Eccleston, Chester by permission of Eccleston PCC.
I used two Sony Cybershot DSC-F707 cameras; one I used as 'normal' and one for taking Infrared images only. The infrared images were taken using the DSC-F707 with a Hoya R72 infrared filter in nightshot mode. A rubber washer was used to block the infrared emitters to prevent reflections from the back of the filter. With the 'normal' set up camera I used the following according to conditions: UV filter, Circular Polariser, ND4, ND8, Cokin filter P121 Gradual Neutral Grey G2 (ND8)
During my research on infrared photography I found this website which is a very good resource on this subject. http://dpfwiw.com/ir.htm
